Palliative care

„Palliare“ is latin and means something like „to cover with a coat“ and describes the aim of this care. Cicely Saunders, an English physician (1918-2005), who is the founder of modern palliative care, explained the concept of palliative care in a famous sentence: „It is not about giving the life more days, it is about giving the days more live/life?”
