Local deep hyperthermia

We offer treatment with local deep hyperthermia, which can be directly combined with chemotherapy or immunotherapy. The heating of the target organ to 42-44° Celsius destroys cancer cells, improves the blood perfusion and makes the target organ more receptive to chemotherapy. As a result, lower dose chemotherapy can be considered and the local tumor controle can be intensified.

The treatment is done on a waterbed. A sounding stick is placed directly on the target organ and electromagnetic waves are applied, which heat the target organ.
